During this time, we can discuss your needs and therapy goals, as well as the session fees and cancellation policy. This is an excellent opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have and to determine if I’m the right counsellor for you. It also helps us both gain a basic understanding of how and whether we can work together in the context of my therapy services.
My standard individual therapy sessions typically last 50 minutes, while couples therapy sessions usually extend to 60 minutes. I provide therapy services on a weekly or fortnightly basis, based on your preference. Sessions can be conducted in person, online, or over the phone. Additionally, I offer flexibility with session length, allowing for shorter or longer sessions tailored to your specific needs.
The initial assessment session lasts 50 minutes and is charged at the standard session fees. During this session, I will ask you some questions to better understand your therapy needs. You’ll also have the opportunity to inquire about my approach and the therapy services I provide. This process helps clarify expectations on both sides and gives you a sense of how I work, allowing us to decide together if we’re a good fit for ongoing therapy.
Please note that session fees are VAT-inclusive, subject to change and reviewed annually.
Fees for providing a Letter of Support or a therapy-related statement will be negotiated based on the content, type, and time required to prepare the document. The basic session fees start at £50 per letter.
Subject to availability, I offer Walk & Talk therapy services in natural outdoor settings across southwest Hampshire (UK), including areas such as Southampton, Eastleigh, Winchester, Romsey, and the New Forest (within approximately 10 miles of Eastleigh). Sessions may take place in local parks, walking routes, or nature reserves — but not in isolated areas — and are held during daylight hours only. Please note that session fees will vary depending on the location and travel requirements, and I also have a cancellation policy in place. For further details, please contact me.

To secure your booking, payment must be made via bank transfer within 48 hours of receiving confirmation. For regular ongoing sessions, session fees must be paid at least two working days in advance of each session.
At least 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session; late cancellations or non‑attendance are charged at the full session fee, payable before your next appointment. If I need to cancel, I will offer an alternative session or a refund where appropriate. For pre‑booked and confirmed sessions, any cancellation or rescheduling incurs a £15 holding fee to cover associated cost like room rental and admin cost, payable before the cancelled session or with your next payment.
If you’re attending ongoing sessions and plan to be away (e.g. on holiday) but wish to keep your regular appointment time, a £15 holding fee per missed session will apply. This fee covers room rental and admin costs and must be paid before your next session, along with your usual session fees.
